Intellectual Property
All software, branding, artwork, trademarks, illustrations, website design and technology belonging to DearSomeone remain the intellectual property of DearSomeone unless otherwise stated.
You retain ownership of the letters you write. DearSomeone claims no ownership of your words — we simply help carry them.
Copyright Complaints
If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on DearSomeone without authorisation, please send us a notice that includes:
- your full name;
- your contact details;
- a description of the copyrighted work;
- the location of the allegedly infringing material on DearSomeone;
- a statement made in good faith that the use is not authorised;
- a statement, made under penalty as applicable, that the information you provide is accurate.
Send your request to support@dearsomeone.cc. We will review each complaint carefully and respond as promptly as we can.
Compliance
DearSomeone is committed to complying with applicable Indian laws, including:
- the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023;
- the Information Technology Act, 2000, together with its rules;
- the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
Where applicable, additional international privacy obligations may be implemented as DearSomeone expands. We will not claim compliance with laws that do not yet apply to us — clarity matters more than credentials.
